Dear Sister & family:
Just a few lines to find out how you are getting along and to let you know that I am fine although I am stiff and tired tonight, for we were out on a route march last night from ten to twelve and then we went out on one again today, around fifteen miles. We started out about 8:30 this morning and got back around 3:30 this afternoon. We ate dinner on the road and had some field maneuvers through the fields.
They had a play put on for us Monday night called Forced Landing and there is a movie on here tonight – Tugboat Annie Sails, again, which I think I will go and see.
I may be home Sat. night but don’t look too hard for I may be on duty.
Has Clarence been duck hunting lately ? How is Olive and Helen getting along?
Well I can’t think of any more write now so will close. Hoping to hear from you soon.
Love, Allan
