Dear Sister –
Just received your letter this morning and was very glad to hear from you. I have been writing to everyone I know so that I would be getting lots of mail. I had a letter from Laola yesterday.
I went to a show uptown last night – George Formby in ‘Come On George’, and my sides are still acing from laughing. This is the worst place I’ve found yet to try and get acquainted with the women.
Tell Helen I said to give her a spanking for me and tell Clarence to get lots of those ducks stored up for when I come home.
There is a boxing and wrestling match going on in the drill hall tonight. Tell Olive not to run around too much with the boy friends.
Well I’ve got a couple of more letters to write and I want to see the fight so will close for this time and don’t forget to write soon again. Hoping to see you soon.
Lots of love, Allan
