Dear Sis,
I am sending a few little things that I have picked up. There is a cushion cover each for you, Jennie, Laura and Shirlie. A small package for Helen and a souvenir for Alex. The cushion covers are made up from different articles that the Germans used to wear on their tunics. I am sending it all in the one big parcel as it is easier to pack that way, so when you see the rest of them you can give them theirs.
I received your letter yesterday and was very sorry to hear about Grandpa Marsh as I didn’t know that he was even sick.
Well, I will write more later.
Lots of love, Allan
