Dear Sis,
A few lines once again to let you know that I am still well and hoping that you are all the same. I saw Jimmie Mitchell not so long ago and he is looking fine, as well. Thanks a million for the Winchesters (cigarettes), which I received a couple of weeks ago.
I am supposed to be going on leave to Rome in a few days. I I hope it is right, for everyone says that it is a place well worth seeing, especially the Vatican City and St. Peter’s Cathedral. So, maybe I will have some more to write about when I come back from leave.
Well, it will soon be Xmas time again and we are still over here, and come to think of it, I have a birthday coming up in three more days. Only 23, and I guess I won’t be able to tease old Marshy about his bald spot anymore.
Well, I will close for now. Hoping to hear from you soon again.
Love, Allan
