Private Grover A. Young transferred from the 91st to the 186th Battalion, and left Halifax for overseas March 26th, 1917. After training at Bramshott he proceeded to France September 9th, 1917, with reinforcements for the 18th Battalion. At Passchendaele, November 6th 1917, he received wounds.
Private Grover A. Young received his discharge January 13th, 1919, being medically unfit for further military service.
