Captain Charles F. Wright received the appointment of Quarter Master of the 186th Battalion February 1st, 1916, with the rank of Honorary Captain. In May he was ill with pneumonia. In April, 1917, he was detailed on special duty at Ordnance Stores, London, until a Medical Board in May of the same year pronounced him affected with lung trouble, and transferred him to “F” unit Military Hospital Commissions Command.
