The son of John Wood of West St., Chatham. Married and the father of Marilyn, they were living on West Street, Chatham. Victor was stationed at RCAF-Fingal and was home on a furlough.
The CDN 1/10/43 reported that Victor had left for the Manning Pool – Toronto to take up his duties with the RCAF.
The CDN 29/07/44 reported that victors daughter was recovering from an appendix operation at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
