History After Enlistment… Enlisted with the Essex-Scottish Regiment, Transferred to the 15th Can. Field Ambulance Unit, June 1941 in London and went overseas in June 1942. Was stationed in England then saw action in D-Day operations in France, later in Belgium and Holland. Was wounded by shrapnel. Returned to Canada and served as an orderly at Westminster Hospital, London, Ont.
