Letters From the Front

Mrs. A. Morrison received the following letter from Pte. Howard Wilson.

France, Thursday January 31.

Dear Mrs. Morrison —

Your parcel received about Dec. 18th . I must say that  I cannot thank you too much and also all the other women in your society in Tilbury who have no doubt sent a parcel to all the Tilbury oys over here and in England. I haven’t met any of the boys from home here in France yet. But as we haven’t been over very long I suppose there are lots of chances. I would certainly like to meet some of them as it makes you feel more like home. I saw most of the boys at Bramshott camp in England last July and it certainly gave me great pleasure. Well let us hope peace will be declared before next Christmas dinner in Canada. Well, as it is getting near bedtime, I will have to close, thank you once more for your parcel.

Your sincerely,

Pte. H. Wilson
