Pte. Alvin Wilson served with the Michigan Provost Guards.

Pte. Alvin Wilson sailed with the 33rd Battalion March 17th, 1916, proceeding to France June 7th, 1916, attached to the 4th Canadian Mounted Rifles, Grenade Section, as Bomber. While trying to take the Regina trench, he was wounded October 1st, 1916, being invalided to Canada January 2nd, 1918, after Hospital treatment in England. He remained in Guelph Convalescent Hospital until March 10th, 1918.

Pte. Alvin Wilson received his discharge March 10th, 1918, being medically unfit for further military service.
