A single farmer living on his mothers farm. MSA Group No. 1. Attestation: 15/10/1918. Due to the date of enlistment and his age of 35 years, it is unlikely that Luther could have made it overseas.

Luther remained in the Ridgetown area, raising horses for harness racing. He never married. A religious man he never drank alcohol and voted against alcohol being served in the Ridgetown Legion on Main and Broadway.  J. Woodworth
