Born 6/08/1919 in Chatham, ON. He was raised on a farm in Raleigh, Twsp., Kent Co.,ON.
Alfred enlisted 15/05/1941, he qualified in the trade of Driver / Mechanic. He served for eight months in Canada and overseas in England and N.W. Europe theatre. He was discharged from the Army 12 October, 1945.
Alfred passed away 6 February, 1967, “greatly missed and loved.
