The son of Mr and Mrs. John Whitmarsh was reported posted overseas in June 1944 at the age of 31 years. Prior to his enlistment in the Navy he was employed at the Ford Motor Co. in Windsor, ON.  CDN 21/06/44.

Served in North Atlantic and English Channel.
