a brother of William 53628. A single labourer. Member of Sussex Territorials. Attestation: 3?11/1914 at Chatham, ON. to 24th Kent Regt. Reported wounded.CDP 14/11/17. It is reported in a letter from Capt. Stewart McKeough to his father dated 3/05/16, while discussing the death of William Whittington that his brother, “Lance Corporal Harry Whittington who is in the Coy., although I believe they enlisted in Sarnia, had relatives in Chatham and while in London always went to Chatham when on pass.
