Private William Weston left for overseas with the 186th Battalion March 26th, 1917, training at Bramshott Camp until August 1917, when, being medically unfit for service in France, he was transferred to Mitchett Musketry Camp, serving on the staff until the Armistice was signed. He arrived in Canada December 17th, 1918.
Private William Weston received his discharge January 16th, 1919, as medically unfit for military service.
