Private Richard G West enlisted in Can Engineers at Toronto July 8th 1918 and proceeded to St John P.Q. On July 27th he proceeded overseas with 85th draft Coy and was sent to Aldershot for five weeks later being transferred to Seaford attached to 2nd C.E.R.B. later he was transferred to the 1st C.E.R.B. at the same place and remained there until June 24th when he was returned to Canada.
Discharged at Ottawa July 3rd 1919 due to demobilization.
