The DT 20/01/41 reported that Sgt. C. K. Wells along with Lieut. F.H.B. Brown were leaving to take an “intensive machine gun course” in Kitchener, ON 

It was reported in the CDN 11/09/42 that CSM Wells was stationed in Wallaceburg. 

CSM Wells stationed at BTC No. 12 Chatham was reported on furlough with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Ern Wells. DT 27/07/4.
