Private Harold Wells trained with the 24th Kent Regiment, Chatham, Ontario.
Private Harold Wells was transferred from the 186th Battalion to the 4th Canadian Pioneers, London, April 29th, 1916, going to St.-Andrews-by-the-sea, New Brunswick, May 22nd, 1916. He proceeded to England September 26th, 1916, but after six months training was admitted to Hospital. He was returned to Canada July 2nd, 1917, and received further treatment at the Central Military Convalescent Hospital, London, Ontario.
Pte. Harold Wells was discharged from military service March 13th, 1918, being medically unfit due to service.
