Private John Webber enlisted with the 186th Battalion, and after an operation in London Hospital, was discharged. He re-enlisted the latter part of May, 1916, going overseas with the 186th Battalion in March, 1917. At Bramshott he again underwent an operation, recovering very soon after, and went to France in November, 1917.
