KIA – Date of Death: 11/13/1942, The crew in Halifax bomber on Air Ops. Never heard from again. Six other RAF crew members were also killed F/O. J. B. Aris, P/O. D. R. Collyer, Sgt.s R. Edlington, J. W. Furniss, F/S. H. Middleton and F/L. C. L. Sparke.
Date of Death: 11/13/42, age: 24 years Navigator.
It was reported that he was missing in a raid over Turin when he was MIA. Five weeks later it was confirmed that he had died KIA.
