 Sgt. R63774, RCAF, 408 Sqd. Born 22/03/1920 in Chatham, ON.  The son of Albert and Glady (nee Grocott) Warren Of Harvey St., Chatham, ON. The brother of Ron, Norm and Charman. The husband of Aileen Olive (Boyer) passed away 2011. The Father of Michael, Jim and John.

History After Enlistment… Served overseas two and a half years. Promoted to sergeant and was awarded a Mention in Dispatches. Reported home on leave in January of 1945. CDN 16/0

He was reported as serving oversea from 1942 to 1945. Reported home on leave in January of 1945. CDN 16/01/45.   

Date of Discharge… September 11th 1945

After the war Robert was a government grain inspector. He was also a member of the Legion ‘Pipe Band’ in Chatham.

The CDN 11/04/18 (P) reported Robert Charles passed away 10 April, 2018, age of 98..
