Born 10/04/1921 in Howard Twsp., Kent Co., ON. Served in the RCN during WWII. Canadian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom 1971 to 1974 and Canadian High commissioner to the USA from 1975 to 1977. Made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1982. Passed away 1 April, 2008 aged 86 years.
According to the Ridgetown Independent of May 25th, 1944, “Lt. J.H. Warren, son of Mrs. Warren and the late Hamilton Warren of Ottawa, is among the survivors of the HMCS Valleyfield. According to reports, Jack was on watch when the frigate was torpedoed.”
