The son of Andrew T. and Ada M. (nee Roadhouse) of Ridgetown, ON.; brother of Kathleen (Fualker) of Des Moines, Ia., Dorothy (Cochran), Olive (Osborne). A lifelong resident of Chatham, ON., the husband of Sybil (nee Fisher), father of Kathleen (Ward) and Rosemary (Ward).

Blake spent the Christmas of 1944 at his parent’s home.

Graduate of the University of Western Ontario and Osgood Hall Law School. Joined the law firm of Ralph D. Steele Q.C. Was appoineted Crown Attorney of the County of Kent in March 1956 and served until his retirement in 1987. Blake was involved in many community groups, Kent County Law Assoc., Ontario Crown Attorney’s Assoc., Chatham Rotary Club, Chatham Public Library Board.

Blake passed away Tuesday, 17 February, 2015 at the age of 93, interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, ON.
