Unit # RCAF

The son of Mr. and Mrs. George Wallace of Tilbury. CPR Station.  It was reported that Bill had enlisted in the RCAF in August of 1943 and left his family’s home for the RCAF Manning Pool, in Toronto, ON. TT 19/08/43. Bill had a visit from his parents  at the Toronto Manning Pool in early 1 Sept. 1943. CDN 1/09/43 & TT 2/09/43. He was home again for a visit in early November of 1943. TT 4/11/43.  The CDN 31/12/43 reported AC Wallace was at RCAF-St. Thomas at the Technical School, He was with his parents on a Christmas leave.

In March of 1944 Bill was reported to be at RCAF-St. Thomas  when he was home on a weekend leave to visit his family. CDN 7/03/44
