Pte. Thomas G. Walkinghood went overseas with the 186th Battalion March 26th, 1917, crossing to France the latter part of August, attached to the 18th Battalion. In November he was admitted to Norfolk War Hospital, suffering with trench feet. He was transferred to the Red Cross Hospital, East Dereham, Norfolk. When convalescent he again crossed to France and re-joined the 18th Battn and went with them to Germany in the army of occupation, he returned to Belgium and England leaving there May 14th 1919 and arrived at Halifax May 22 1919.
Discharged at London May 24th 1919 due to demobilization.
