The son of John Walker and Mrs. Walker of Derckerville, Michigan. Archie was stationed in London, ON. He was home on a short leave “owing to the illness of his grand-mother. WN 9/10/41
The WN 6/08/42 reported that Archie had been quite ill in a military hospital at Sussex Camp, New Brunswick. He had an accident while on manoeuvers resulting in a broken jaw bone.
The WN 24/09/42 reported that Archie had been stationed at an Eastern training camp and was spending a furlough at his parents home.
