Pte. Harry VonGunten transferred from the 91st to the 186th Battalion going overseas March 26th, 1917. He was drafted to France June 11th, 1917, attached to the 18th Battalion. After serving eleven months as scout he was seriously wounded June 2nd, 1918m in both arms, leg and throat, and admitted to Hospital in Stowbridge, England. He later convalesced at Epsom.
