Born 2 July, 1927 at Chatham,ON. Married Molly McCoy of Belfast, Ireland Father of Debbie and three other siblings. 

Served aboard HMCS Uganda and HMCS Magnificent while in North Belfast, Ireland in WWII.

After the war Oliver bought a commercial fishing tig the “Eau Jay”. An unfortunate accidental explosion ended his career, one of his crew had been killed. He then opened a grocery, coffee shop, fish store and then became the owner/operator of Molly & OJ’s Restaurant and Sandbar and Motel. 

Oliver passed away 6 April, 2005.
