He was married and had a mother living at Mitchell’s Bay, Kent Co. when he was on a 28 day leave in July 1943. WN 15/07/43 The WN 7/10/43 reported Wilkie home from Camp Petewawa for a few days 

The Wallaceburg News reported that Gnr. Urquhard, who had been overseas in England for a few months was a guest of his brother Wilfred and his wife in Mitchell’s Bay. Date unknown.
