Private Robert Turner went overseas with the 186th. Battalion March, 1917, and after training at Bramshott, proceeded to France in September 1917, attached to the 18th. Battalion. October 12th, 1918, he received gunshot wounds in the left shoulder; was admitted to hospital in France and two weeks later transferred to England After convalescence at Epsom he reported to the Reserve Battalion, Witley, embarked for Canada January 11th, 1919, and arrived at Halifax January 17th, 1919.
