Private Stevenson B. Turnbull left London June, 1915, for overseas, and after training at Bramshott proceeded to France August 22nd, 1915, transferring to the 1st. Battalion. He was wounded September 29th, 1915, and was admitted to Hospital in England, One year later he was appointed Orderly in Orpington Hospital, serving until December, 1917, when he again crossed to France as Stretcher Bearer.
