Private Roy E. Trudell was transferred from the 91st. to the 186th. Battalion in February 1916, and left for overseas March 26th, 1917. He trained at Bramshott Camp until September 1917, when he crossed to France posted to the Scout Section of the 18th. Canadian Battalion, scouting and sniping until the Armistice was signed when he proceeded to Germany, crossing the Rhine December 14th, 1918.
