Signaller George Trafford enlisted July 3rd, 1916, going overseas July 7th, 1916, training at Bramshott for six months. He went to France in December 1916 going through Loos, Vimy Ridge, Passchendaele attached to 11th Brigade. This Brigade was broken up an then he was sent to the 9th Brigade C.F.A. as signaller, retraining with this unit until armistice, went to England with the same unit and to Canada.
Discharged in London May 21st 1919 due to demobilisation.
