The son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Tite of 186 King St. West, Chatham, ON.  He had trained in Quebec at St. Hyacinthe  before attending at HMCS Cornwallis, NS.  

History After Enlistment… Was on Convoy Duty from the East Coast of Canada and United States to Liverpool, England, this being the Main base.

The CDN 17/04/44 reported that David had spent a week-end leave and was returning to St. Hyacinthe. David spent a weekend with his parents reported in the CDN 8/05/44. 

The CDN 31/07/44(P) reported that he was on convoy duty with the RCN overseas. 

Sgmn. Tite had been in the Navy for over a year and had completed three Atlantic crossing. He had been at home on a short leave before returning to the east coast. CDN 19/02/45.
