Cadet Norman Andrew Thomson was posted to Long Branch September 18th, 1917, and to 4.S. of M. A. Toronto University November 12th, 1917. He continued training from December 1st, 1917, at Camp Taliferro, NO.3, Fort Worth, Texas, until February 6th, 1918, being then posted to the School of Ariel Gunnery. He was returned to Headquarters, Toronto, February 27th, and received his commission as Second Lieutenant in March 1918, leaving for overseas March 18th, 1918.
