The son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert (Elizabeth Ellen) Thomson of Camden Twsp. The husband of Margaret (nee Ellis), who he married in and of East Barnet, Hertfordshire, England in 1943. The brother of Sadie of Chatham, Laura at home, also three brothers in service Pte. Andrew in Italy, George in France both attached to the 1stCanadian Tank Brigade and Norman of Ridgetown.

Pte. Lloyd Thomson was a dispatch rider serving with the 1sr Canadian tank Brigade. He enlisted in February 1941 and was overseas in June of the same year.

Age: 25, DOAS, Date of Death: 17/09/1944
