The son of George L. Thibeault of R.R. #3 Merlin, Raleigh Twsp., and the late Mrs. Thibeault of Kent Co., ON. Clement had six brothers (two overseas) and three sisters.   

He enlisted in September of 1940 with the Kent Regt. He transferred to the Glengarry Highlanders and went overseas in the fall of 1941.

Clement was married and in September of 1944 she was residing in London, ON. with their son, when it was reported that he had been wounded in France on on 10 August of 1944 after being overseas for three years. CDN 1/09/44.  The Merlin Standard 24/08/44 reported that ‘Clem’ had been seriously wounded in action in France. At the time there was no report of his condition.       

With his arm in a sling arrived in Chatham, his wife was residing at 33 Selkirk St., he returned on leave. Reported in the CDN 11/01/45, MD-RH, BFL-B, .

Clement Thibeault passed away 16/06/1989.
