RG 150, Accession 1992-93/166, Box 9580 – 14 Date of Birth 04/11/1885   Attestation not available 23/07/06. Reported to be from Chatham, the son of John T and Mary Anne Tewkesbury, brother of George and Wilfred. Reported  returning from O/S duty. CDP 16/12/18. William passed away 19/10/1939 he had taken up residence at Mitchell’s Bay after the war. He passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chatham. He had six veterans as pallbearers Grant McDonald, Roy Young, Hillard Allen, James Alvin Dunlop, T. Broadbent and William Taylor, he was buried at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Chatham.
