4/04/1919 – Proceeded to England and sailed 14/05/1929, sailed from Liverpool 14/05/19 aboard the S.S. Caronia.      

5/08/1919 – Sgt. Arthur Tayles reported to have risen to the rank of Sargent and had been awarded the Military Medal (ref: LG 31430 dl. / 3.7.19). His scar on the left thigh was from an accident – Pre-war. He was Discharged 24/05/1919 at London, ON. “Demobilization” then living at 15 Edgar St., Chatham, ON.
