Born 13/05/26, the son of George and Clara Tasker of Merlin, ON. The brother of Georgina (Sinclair) and four other brothers, Pte. William (KIA 14/04/45), Harold of Windsor, Jack and Max of Merlin. 

The Merlin Standard 31/08/44 reported that he along, with Douglas, both of Chatham were at their parents home on a weekend pass. 

Leo passed away 16 December, 1964 and is buried at Victoria cemetery, Merlin, ON.
