Pte. William was reported to be visiting his parents in the Wheatley area, It was reported that Bill was stationed at No.12 BTC – Chatham. He was stationed in London, ON. at the time. CDN 9/06/42.
By January of 1944 bill was in the Provost Corp at Debert NS. and was on a weeks leave to Wheatley. CDN 26/01/44
