Corporal Tack left Canada for overseas Sept. 25, 1914, arriving in England Oct. 18 and was stationed on Salisbury Plains.
He proceeded to France Feb. 7, 1915, serving with the 1st battalion until killed in action Sept. 22, 1916 at Courcelette.
