He was married, his wife was living in Wallaceburg. Stationed at RCAF-Brantford, he was on a week end leave. WN 2/12/43 

 The WN 13/01/44 reported that William spent a weekend at his family home.  While stationed at RCAF – Mount Hope, Hamilton, ON. was on leave to see his wife, son Larry and her parents Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Warrener. WN date unknown.

The WN 28/12/44 reported that William was at home with his wife and son Gary to celebrate Christmas 1944 with her parents.       

Served in Great Britain.
