Stationed at Guelph, ON. The brother of Marguerite. He was in Chatham to attend the wedding of his sister to Keith LeRoy Harris at the Regular Baptist Church in Chatham CDN 24/06/42 The CDN 13/03/43 reported P/O. Swainston was on furlough at the home of his parents on St. George St. PO. Swainston was stationed on the West Coast.
The CDN 14/05/43 reported he had received training at Valcartier, Guelph and in New Brunswick and from Fingal, the highest in his group. He was presented with an engraved fountain pen. He went overseas as a wireless air-gunner.
