The DT 25/03/43 reported that AC1 Sutton of RCAF-Dafoe, SK., was at his parents home on leave he then returned to Defoe.

The DN reported that  LAC Sutton had returned to RCAF-Mountain View, ON. after spending a furlough with his parents. In June of 1944 Bob was spending a two-week furlough with his parents.  DT 1/06/4 

Robert would be home again in September on a discharge leave. DN 12/09/45 The DN 31/10/45 reported that Bob was given his honorable discharge from the RCAF and was home for good from his service.
