The son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Sutton of 98 Princes St. North. The CDN 18/10/44(P) reported that Gerald had graduated with honours as a pilot receiving his “Wings” at RCAF Centralia.

One brother Raymond was killed in Sicily in 1943 with the Royal Marines. His father was CSM at No.12 BTC in Chatham and had recently been honorably discharged. CDN 18/10/44(P).
