Sullivan, Henry Blonde

 

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Sullivan brother of  Frances W313934 and Robert C. of the RCAF., of St. Clair Str., Chatham, ON. Attended Blessed Sacrament School and Chatham Collegiate Institute.  

The CDN 22/09/43 reported that Henry was stationed at the Manning Pool in Toronto was home for a few days visiting family. He was to report at I.T.S in Belleville.

Harry enlisted in the RCAF at the age of 19 years. The CDN 28/03/44 reported that Harry had completed his course at Mt. Pleasant, PEI., and had arrived at home in Chatham on a fourteen day furlough before taking up “his new duties” at Three Rivers, PQ.  Graduated at Mont Pleasant, P.E.I. after training at Lachine, PQ and Belleville, ON. CDN 10/01/45           

History After Enlistment… Trained in Toronto, Belleville and Mount Pleasant. Posted for overseas duty and served with the 150th Squadron in England, and Promoted to W.O. 2

Sgt. Sullivan had been in England since May 1944. CDN 10/01/45(P).

Date of Discharge… February 22nd 1946
