In April of 1941 William and his wife spent a ten day furlough with his parents in Chatham, ON. After the furlough was up the couple returned to DeBert, NS. TT 17/04/41.

Age: 24, KIA – Date of Death: 07/04/1943, in Liberator bomber on flare drop on Burma coast.
