Attestation 3/11/1914 at Windsor, ON. to 18th Bn. Found on Honour Roll – Church of the Advent, Ridgetown, ON.

Apparent Age: 21 yrs. 1 mth. Height: 5’9”, Girth: 34”, Complexion: Fair. Eyes: Blue, Hair, Brown. Medical 3/11/14 at Windsor, ON. (a scar on back). “Fit”. Entered service November 30 to April 1915 for shipment to England. 

Sailed from Halifax aboard the S. S. Grmpian aboard the with the unit 18/04/15. Arrived in England.   

Overseas to France from Folkstoe, disembarked at Boulogne, France. Killed in Action 27/12/15

Cemetery: RIDGE WOOD MILITARY CEMETERY – Belgium. It was noted that William grave was identified with a wooden cross with his name inscribe

The Memorial Cross was received Mrs. R. Storing. Fred D. Storing (brother) received medals and decorations and the Memorial Plaque and Memorial Scroll to his father.

As to his ‘WILL” $15.00 to Mrs. J. E. Storing the remainder to his brother in Ridgetown.
