He enlisted in the Kent Regt. and transferred to the Highland Light Infantry of Canada, RCR and served overseas.. Reported returning from overseas on board the S. S. “New Amsterdam” part of a contingent of RCR members. CDN 25-26/09/45, CFF-FD44, KCFA.
